Deltic Energy plc has issued a correction to part of the originally stated terms of the £6.9 million sale of the company to Viaro Group.

The number of shares in the irrevocable undertaking should have said a total of 2,855,357 Deltic shares, representing around 3.07% of the company’s ordinary share capital.
Viaro has received, in aggregate, irrevocable undertakings in respect of 17,847,772 Deltic shares.
The figure represents approximately 19.17% Deltic’s ordinary share capital in issue as at 14 July 2025.
Deltic decided to sell its entire share capital because of an “uncertain fiscal and policy environment” which made funding and exploration success “extremely challenging”.
