United Oil & Gas plc has appointed David Williams as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.
Mr Williams has more than 20 years’ experience in investment management capital markets and corporate strategy.
His career has involved identifying value opportunities and delivering strategic growth across multiple industries.
Mr Williams also has knowledge of portfolio management, investment analysis and board-level oversight, capital allocation, risk management and creation of shareholder value.
He founded, and has been director of, Richmond Bridge Capital Ltd since 2019, advising small companies on finance and corporate strategy.
He is also the founder of Sankofa Investment Partners, which identifies investment opportunities in undervalued or “transitional” sectors.
Mr Williams previously worked for 15 years at M&G Investments, where his roles included a fund manager of UK and Global equity portfolios.
He currently holds no ordinary shares or any other securities in United.
The company’s principal asset is the Walton Morant project, offshore Jamaica.
