Strategic Minerals plc posted “strong” tungsten, tin and copper mineralisation within a “new tin-dominant zone” for the first time from the 2025 drilling programme at the Redmoor deposit in Kelly Bray, East Cornwall.

The company’s subsidiary Cornwall Resources Ltd received the assays from its diamond core drill campaign of nine boreholes for 5,300 metres.
Hole CRD036 aimed to “twin” historical drill holes and identify mineralised continuity at shallower depths within a hole designed to intersect a higher-grade, tin-dominant portion of the high-grade tungsten deposit, said Strategic.
Results of downhole tin intersections include 0.50 metres at 1.26% tin, 0.02% copper and 0.02% tungsten trioxide.
Downhole intersections of high grade tungsten included 4.50m at 0.47% tungsten trioxide, 0.14% tin and 0.24% copper from 372.50m.
The company added that further high-grade sample intervals, inside broad intersections, included 18.50 m at 0.14% tungsten trioxide, 0.20% tin and 0.25% copper from 371.50m.
High grade copper downhole intersections include 1.65m at 1.09% copper, 0.05% tin and 0.23% trioxide from 401.90 m.
Strategic said that the returns included “elevated” silver values in relation to mineralisation within copper-rich zones.
Among the results, CRL recorded 5.10m at 0.66% copper, 0.03% tin and 0.34% tungsten trioxide and 15.5 grams per ton silver from 401.90m, including 1.65m at 33.9 g/t silver from 401.90m.
The drilling programme also involves ‘twinning’, whereby new holes intersect old drill holes, which has given positive results and new insights into Redmoor.
