Reabold Resources plc’s support has edged higher, from 6.2 to 6.8%, for its £6.14 million takeover offer for Union Jack Oil plc.
As of 29 September 2026, being day 57 of shareholder acceptances, support equals 10,023,675 Union Jack shares.
The figures compare with Union Jack’s new board’s support of 24.39% against the offer, as at 24 September. Of this number, new executive chairman Craig Howie owns 9.16% and executive director John Americanos holds 4.93% of the company’s shares.
The offer remains open until the unconditional date of 2 October, which may be brought forward or extended.
As at July 2025, Union Jack held 6.3 million shares in treasury, excluded from voting rights which total 146,565,896 shares.
Union Jack’s previous board agreed in June 2026 to sell to Reabold because it was at risk of losing its main assets. This led to a requisitioned meeting and the replacement of the board with Messrs Howie and Americanos.
