Helium One Global Ltd has begun producing helium gas from the Galactica joint venture project in Las Animas County in Colorado, USA.

PROJECT LIFE
Partner and operator Blue Star Helium commissioned the Pinon Canyon processing facility on 22 December, within the target date.
Helium One said that off-take agreements were initially expected to be short-term contracts, with sales in January 2026, followed by longer term partnership agreements for sustained revenue.
The company added that additional well tie-ins and infill drilling would increase revenue during the first half of 2026.
Infill and expansion drilling will maintain full plant capacity, with the life of project projected to be more than 12 years.
“This is a major value-inflection point for the company and fully justifies our decision to enter this project just over a year ago,” said non-executive chairman James Smith.
“This also marks a significant transformation for the company as we transition from explorer into project delivery and revenue generation.”
The project is part of the broader Galactica-Pegasus JV with Blue Star.
Helium One’s principal project is the southern Rukwa licence in Tanzania.
