PORTFOLIO

The Australian company’s portfolio includes ownership and operatorship of licence P2670, containing five blocks, in the UK Southern Gas Basin.

In May 2023, Hartshead farmed out 60% of the licence to Viaro Energy subsidiary, RockRose Energy Ltd.

The licence contains “multiple” gas fields and exploration prospects with a combined resource base of circa 800 billion cubic feet of gas across phases I, II and III of the field development.

Phase I comprises the Somerville and Anning gas fields which have independently audited combined 2P reserves of 301.5 bcf gas.

The purchase is for $0.014 for each fully paid Hartshead share and $0.0007 for each partly paid share.

In its interim report from December 2025, Hartshead said the price was as at a 133% premium and valued the company’s fully diluted equity at approximately AUS$40 million (£21m).

The cash sale is also to eligible Hartshead shareholders as well as ACAM, which is a general partner of ACAM LP.

Boards changes include the resignation of executive director Nathan Lude and executive chairman Bevan Tarratt, and the appointment of Michael Allen and Matthew Foy as directors.

Companies House published the additional appointment as director of Stephen McCormick.

Hartshead, whose shares were suspended at close on 12 June 2026, is expected to delist on 24 June 2026 from the official list of Australian Stock Exchange.
