Harbour Energy plc non-executive director Simon Henry has resigned with immediate effect to pursue other opportunities.
Mr Henry was appointed to Harbour’s board in 2021 and was the senior independent director of the company.
He served on the company’s audit and risk and health, safety, environment and social committees.
NED and chairman of the audit and risk committee Alan Ferguson will become interim senior independent director.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Simon for his invaluable contribution during his time on the board of Harbour,” said chairman R. Blair Thomas.
“Simon’s period as a non-executive director has coincided with a period of significant growth in Harbour’s business, in particular through the transformational acquisition of Wintershall Dea assets in 2024.
“His deep insight will be missed and we all wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
Harbour has oil and gas interests in Norway, the UK, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, North Africa and Southeast Asia.
