First Class Metals plc is refining targets for a possible drilling campaign within the Sunbeam gold property, one of its two main projects in Ontario, Canada.

The project holds three development sites of the past producing Sunbeam mine, Roy and Pettigrew.
Exploration work on the 88km2 site has progressed to include the collection of 500 soil samples across the Roy structure, north of the mine, with assays pending.
Results are also awaited from a very low frequency (VLF) magnetic survey which could direct possible drilling.
First Class has also rediscovered the 113ft deep B43 shaft, where grab samples from waste areas showed “visible chalcopyrite and galena”, while it has yet to locate B45 shaft.
The company has also applied for a grant from the fourth consecutive year with the 2025 Ontario Junior Explorers Programmes (OJEP). The application focuses on progressing the Roy zone.
Sunbeam contains “a number of other significant gold bearing sites”, including Road zone and AL 308, in addition to the three development sites, .
First Class still has to explore a potential fourth lineation, the Burger structure, and the Rubble zone which appears to be “off structure”.
The company states that historic developments and the “widespread occurrence of gold” emphasise the potential for a major discovery.
Sunbeam is one of the company’s seven wholly owned properties which also cover lithium and rare earth elements.
