Union Jack Oil plc’s joint venture partner has spud the Crossroads well, in southern Oklahoma, USA.
PROGRAMME
Operator Reach Oil and Gas Company Inc. began drilling on 5 May 2026 and expects operations to take some 10 days.
The spud date was delayed during April for rig maintenance and repair.
Crossroads is targeting a “large 100 acre structure in the prolific Oil Creek Sand”.
The overall three-well drilling programme also includes Sark, spud in August 2025, and Wolverine-1, both in central Oklahoma.
Union Jack has a 43% interest in the project and is fully funded for drilling costs.
