The company settled the debt, at 101% of the principal amount, on 24 Jun 2026, leaving $1,162,034,475 outstanding of the principal amount.

Chief financial officer Richard Miller said: “This partial repayment of the notes has been enabled by our strong operational and financial performance in 2026.

“Being able to take this meaningful step only two months after closing the refinancing transaction is reflective of our disciplined approach to capital allocation and the quality of our assets.

“We continue to focus on deleveraging and exploring longer term refinancing and strategic options, underpinned by our enhanced value proposition.”

Tullow’s core oil and gas assets are located offshore Ghana.
