Strategic Minerals plc, parent of Cornwall Resources Ltd, has appointed Charles Manners as executive chairman, with immediate effect.

Mr Manners became a non-executive director in August 2024 and then chairman in September of the same year.
Strategic said that the executive role reflected his work to rationalise the group and refocus the business.
The board also includes executive director Mark Burnett and NED Philip Hayden-Slater.
The company is in the process of selling its Leigh Creek copper mine in South Australia to focus on the Redmoor tin-tungsten project in Cornwall.
Cornwall Resources is just over a third of the way through a nine-borehole drill programme for 5,300 metres of new diamond core drilling at the site.
