Star Energy Group plc has issued 60,531,015 new shares in relation to the placing, subscription and retail offer held earlier this month, which raised an aggregate £9.1 million.

The shares issue follows shareholders’ approval at the company’s general meeting today.
Following admission, Star’s total issued share capital will comprise 191,865,143 ordinary shares, with voting rights and none held in treasury.
The company holds onshore oil and gas interests in the East Midlands and the South of England, as well as shale gas exploration licences and geothermal interests.
