Strike-off notice for Red Rock-Power Metal JV

Red Rock Resources plc and Power Metal Resources plc’s joint venture exploring for gold in Australia has been given first Gazette strike-off notice by the Companies Registrar.

Companies House today published the notice to New Ballarat Gold Corp which owns 17 licences over 1,867km2 and the historic Berringa gold mine in the Victoria gold fields.

The notice reads that unless cause is shown to the contrary, New Ballarat Gold will be struck off the registrar and dissolved not less than two months from 22 August 2023.

In the event of the company’s dissolution, “all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the company are deemed to be bona vacantia, and will belong to the Crown”.

Red Rock holds 50.1% and Power Metal owns 49.9% of the Red Rock Australasia Pty Ltd joint venture which is held in New Ballarat Gold.
