Power Metal Resources plc has staked eight further claims after identifying new copper anomalies at the Garfield copper-gold property in the Walker Lane mineral belt in Nevada, USA.

ANOMALIES
The findings are from analysis of recent satellite imagery of Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) and European Space Agency Sentinel-2 datasets.
The two “strong” anomalies, A and B, are located more than 1km and 1.5km from the main Garfield showings and “expand the potential” for copper mineralisation.
Historic rock sampling near the anomalies have returned up to 2.6% copper, and 5.53% respectively.
The new claims cover the anomalies, increasing the total number from three to eleven.
Power Metal said it was reviewing other identified strong anomalies.
The company acquired Garfield in June 2021 from Sunrise Resources plc.
Power Metal’s UK subsidiary Golden Metal Resources Ltd holds a 100% interest in Garfield and plans to list on the London markets.
