Power Metal adds new helium anomalies to Perch River

Power Metal Resources plc has expanded by 38% its Perch River uranium project within the Athabasca basin to include more helium anomalies and prospective geology.

GEOLOGICAL TREND

The move follows the discovery earlier this month of “highly significant” helium anomalies at the site.

The company has now secured a further 1,514.8ha to the North taking the total size to 5,455ha.

Power Metal said that the new acreage covered “several strong hyperspectral helium anomalies” located along the same geological trend and which further overlie prospective geology.

The acquisition costs CA$908.89 (£540), spend commitments are $22,722 (£13,585) per year with the first two years requiring no expenditures. The expiry date is 8 September 2025.

The company has also begun an “extensive” exploration programme across its wider properties on the edge of Athabasca.
