The Parkmead Group plc has appointed Douglas Sedge as an independent non-executive director.
He will also chair the company’s audit committee and serve as a member of the remuneration committee.
Mr Sedge has more than 40 years’ experience in the energy sector within the UK and across numerous other countries.
He has held senior executive and non-executive positions, including those of chairman and chief executive officer, in companies such as Weatherford International, Sparrows Group and RGB Ltd.
Mr Sedge, who began his appointment on 14 November 2025, currently holds no shares or share options in Parkmead.
The group has oil and gas interests onshore Netherlands, in the UK Moray Firth, and the UK central and southern North Sea, as well as renewable energy assets in Scotland.
