Oriole Resources plc reported “wide gold intersections” outside exploration target MB01-S at its 90% owned orogenic gold Mbe project in the Adamawa Region of central Cameroon.

MRE
The findings come from the final results of the now completed ten-month diamond drilling programme of 24 holes for 6,828.40 metres.
Chief executive officer Martin Rosser said that the returns showed that the sub surface mineralised system at MB01-S extended over an approximate 500m strike length, 550m width and a vertical depth of at least 290m.
Drill holes, MBDD021 to MBDD024, returned a further “59 gold mineralised intersections” at the MB01-S target, taking the total so far to 344.
The company said that the figure equated to a discovery rate of more than one intersection every 20m.
Latest results from MBDD024 include 29.80m are at 0.79 grams per ton gold from 116.90m including 13.70m at 1.36g/t gold, confirming “substantial widths of gold mineralisation outside of MB01-S.
These results increased the width of sub-surface mineralisation to approximately 550m.
Drill hole MBDD022 returns include 12.50m at 0.74g/t gold from 5.50m, including 4.20m at 1.31g/t gold and 1.00m at 1.33g/t gold.
Holes MBDD021 to MBDD023 extended the strike length of the sub-surface system to around 500m, with mineralisation open in all directions.
Oriole expects an inaugural mineral resource estimate for MB01-S, which covers around 60% of the overall exploration target, during the final quarter of 2025.
BCM International Ltd has so far acquired a 10% interest in Mbe and is earning up to a further 40% interest by spending up to US$4 million on exploration.
CLP
Mbe covers 312km2 and lies within the broader 2,266km2 Eastern Central Licence Package of five contiguous exploration licences.
Southern target MB01-S and northern target MB01-N lie on the northeast trending prospect of MB01, which sits in a wider 12.5km long zone of gold-in-soil anomalism trending ENE.
The Eastern CLP, along with the three-licence Western CLP, forms the district-scale Central Licence Package, covering a total of 4,091km2.
The acreage is “highly prospective” for commodities, including orogenic-style gold mineralisation and lithium.
