Metals issues 868,410 new shares

Metals Exploration plc has issued 868,410 new ordinary shares of £0.0001 each after an options exercise, at £0.0829 per each new ordinary share, for an aggregate £71,991.

The company additionally announced that non-executive director Andrew Chubb has bought 331,453 ordinary shares, each at a price of £0.149.

Mr Chubb’s now has an interest in 4,996,354 ordinary shares, representing 0.17% of Metals’ total voting rights.

Following admission of the option shares, the company will have 3,227,295,251 ordinary shares in issue, of which 299,385,458 ordinary shares are held in treasury.

The total number of voting rights is therefore 2,927,909,793.

Metals holds gold exploration, development and production assets in Nicaragua and the Philippines.
