European Green appoints Mick Kearney as NED

European Green Transition plc has appointed Mick Kearney as an independent non-executive director, effective from 22 October 2025.

Mr Kearney has more than 40 years’ experience across numerous sectors, having established and grown businesses across a range of industries.

Among his achievements is his introduction of Snap Printing to Ireland in 1984 and his co-founding of Home Instead Senior Care Ireland.

As a sportsman, Mr Kearney was team manager for the Irish men’s national rugby team from 2012 to 2016 and 2022 to 2023.

He currently manages the EY mentoring programme for Irish rugby players, mentors the Irish men’s rugby team and is an independent member of the Irish National Professional Game Board.

Mr Kearney does not hold any ordinary shares in European Green.

The company currently holds rare earth elements and copper-graphite projects in Sweden.
