Serica Energy plc has resumed production from the Triton floating production storage and offloading vessel, following a suspension of operations at the end of last month.

INCREASE
An issue with the flare system temporarily halted production on 30 September until operator Dana Petroleum resolved the matter.
“Production resumed in line with expectations at a limited level shortly after that date,” said Serica.
“Since then, the operator has ramped up production, which has now reached a rate of over 25,000 boepd net to Serica.”
Two weeks ago chief executive officer Chris Cox said that the company was “stepping up talks” with the operator on the future running of the FPSO.
Serica’s two producing hubs are the operated Bruce, Keith and Rhum fields in the UK
northern North Sea, and a mix of operated and non-operated fields tied back to the Triton FPSO.
Serica also has operated interests in the producing fields of Columbus in the UK central North Sea and Orlando in the UK northern North Sea, and a non-operated interest in the producing Erskine field in the UK central North Sea.
