EnQuest plc has won best petroleum arrangement contractor (PAC) in Malaysia for the second consecutive year at the Emerald Awards by state-owned oil company Petronas (Petroliam Nasional Berhad).

At the ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Petronas also gave the company an award for abandonment excellence.
“To receive this recognition once is a great honour,” said EnQuest’s South East Asia general manager Radzif Ahmed.
“To receive it twice, back-to-back, is a powerful testament to the consistency, capability, and commitment of the EnQuest team, both onshore and offshore.
“It is also a reaffirmation of the vision we share with Petronas in advancing Malaysia’s upstream sector.”
The Emerald Awards recognise the achievements of upstream operators across technical and non-technical disciplines.
EnQuest last year marked its tenth anniversary in Malaysia, received the DEWA PSC award and increased Seligi gas development.
The group’s operations include its PM8 extension production sharing contract, comprising the PM8 and Seligi fields.
