Company Moves Exploration & Mining News

Dalradian Gold director Keith Mckay leaves

Dalradian Gold Ltd director Keith Mckay has stepped down while Michael Barton is appointed to the same role.

Companies House recorded both changes effective on 14 December 2023.

Dalradian is 75% controlled by Ontario-based Dalradian Gold Inc. and owned and backed by US investor Orion Resource Partners.

Since late 2009, the company has focused on the Curraghinalt polymetallic deposit in West Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

In November 2017 a planning application was submitted for an underground mine, which is subject to a public inquiry.

Dalradian says its research shows more than six million ounces of gold at Curraghinalt, although the full extent of the deposit is not yet known.

In November 2023, the company announced that the project contained tellurium, antimony, bismuth, molybdenum and cobalt in addition to gold, silver and copper.

Plans for the mine, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Sperrin Mountains, face local opposition.
