Cornish Lithium plc has published its 56-page 2024 sustainability report for its Trelavour hard rock project near St Austell and extraction from geothermal waters at United Downs in the centre of the county.

The company said the report outlined its approach and progress in “responsible stewardship” of natural resources, people and human rights, and “good governance” through regulatory compliance and responsible practices.
Cornish Lithium drew attention to the expansion of its environmental management system and revisions to its environmental social governance policy.
The company has also reported “with reference” to Global Reporting Initiative Standards, which it states is a step towards transparency.
“Proactive” engagement with the Environment Agency and other regulators along with “updated procurement procedures” with enhanced supplier due diligence requirements are also highlighted.
