Ascent Resources plc said it had been advised of a prepared draft for a tribunal award in connection with its Petišovci gas joint venture in Slovenia.
COMPLEXITY
The company’s claim is under the Energy Charter Treaty against the Slovenian Government.
Ascent added that the arbitration tribunal from International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), had yet to make to make the award final “due to the complexity of the matter”.
“The company is advised that it expects to hear an update on the timing for the issuance of the award on or around 30 April 2026,” added Asecent.
The company also holds gas assets in the Paradox Basin in Utah, USA.
