Anglesey appoints Andrew Fulton as CEO

Anglesey Mining plc has appointed Andrew Fulton to the board as chief executive officer, with effect from 1 June 2026.

He will replace Rob Marsden who steps down at the end of May 2026.

Mr Fulton is a Chartered mining engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Minerals, Mining & Materials (C.Eng, FIMMM).

He has more than 30 years’ experience in developing and managing mineral projects across the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Mr Fulton has been a co-director of Capacity Minerals Ltd, which has interests in Egypt and Jordan, since 2025.

He also founded, and has been principal director of, mining consultants Gatesbridge Ltd since 2013.

Mr Fulton was previously operations manager before becoming vice president at Israel Chemical Ltd’s Boulby polyhalite mine in northeast England, and a director of deep mining at UK Coal plc.

He worked for Anglo American for 15 years in a leadership role, including as regional general manager.

Mr Fulton is also a past president of the Mining Association of the United Kingdom.

He currently holds no direct interests in Anglesey Mining’s ordinary shares.

The company said that Mr Fulton would focus on “team formation and leadership, aligning technical, operational, and commercial capabilities with a strategic emphasis on due diligence, turnaround, and growth”.

The company is developing its wholly owned Parys Mountain copper-zinc-lead-silver-gold-volcanogenic massive sulphide project in North Wales.
