Alba meanwhile continues preparations for the programme, including modifications for “greater penetration and faster progression through the blasting sequences”.

The company is also processing the remaining ore stockpile, with around 4 kg of concentrate currently heading for refining.

Alba will also produce its second product, a limited series of 18 karat pendants, made of gold it extracted from Clogau, to be offered at a set price.

The first product was a limited series of 24 karat gold coins edition.

The company has additionally registered ‘GMW’ as a maker’s mark at the London Assay Office.
