Oriole Resources plc reported three directors’ purchases of a total 19,711,343 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the company, at an average price of 0.21 pence per share.

Chair Eileen Carr bought 15 million shares and now holds 196,672,969 shares, equal to 5.05% of the issued share capital of Oriole following the transaction.
Chief financial officer Robert Smeeton bought 3,773,584 shares and now owns 44,507,458 shares (1.14%).
Executive director Claire Bay acquired 937,759 shares, taking her holding to 14,636,629 shares (0.38%).
Following the transactions on 10 July, the five directors on the board now collectively hold 277,110,508 ordinary shares, representing 7.11% of Oriole’s total voting rights.
WARRANTS
On 4 July the company extended the expiry date of a total of 152,777,778 of the remaining warrants, exercisable at 0.25 pence per share, in the June 2022 fundraise.
The warrants, due to expire on 13 July 2025, will now expire on 13 January 2026.
Ms Carr and Mr Smeeton, who hold 1,611,111 and 3,166,666 warrants respectively, agreed that their own warrant holdings would lapse on 13 July 2025.
Oriole has gold exploration assets in Cameroon and Senegal as well as interests and royalties in companies operating in East Africa and Turkey, with potential future cash payments.
