Helium One Global Ltd joint venture has agreed an initial off-take agreement for output from the Pinon Canyon processing plant at the Galactica project in Las Animas County, Colorado, USA.

Partner and operator Blue Star Helium signed the three-month transaction with a “major US industrial gases purchaser” for the plant’s early production.
Negotiations continue for long-term off-take arrangements as do commercial discussions for co-produced carbon dioxide.
Galactica is part of the broader Galactica-Pegasus project.
Helium One’s principal project is the southern Rukwa licence in Tanzania.
