Harbour Energy plc has re-appointed Simon Henry as an independent non-executive director and senior independent director, with effect from 1 September 2026 and subject to shareholder approval.
Mr Henry previously held both roles with the company from April 2021 until July 2025. His reappointment follows a recommendation from Harbour’s nomination committee and board approval.
He has also served on the boards of BP from 2025 to 2026, Rio Tinto from 2017 to 2025 and PetroChina Company Ltd from 2017 to 2022.
Harbour has oil and gas interests in Norway, the UK, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, North Africa and Southeast Asia.
