Guardian Metal Resources plc non-executive Mick Billing will leave the board, after four years with the company.

Executive chairman J.T. Starzecki said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to sincerely thank Mick for his commitment and service to Guardian Metal, during which the company established itself as a critical component in US efforts to strengthen defence supply chain resilience.
“He has been instrumental in the rapid advancement of the company’s offering and focus to date, and we wish him all the best for his retirement.”
Mr Billing’s replacement will be Michael X. Schlumpberger PE MBA, following completion of due diligence.
Mr Schlumpberger has nearly 40 years’ industry experience including operational and executive roles in critical minerals.
He worked for 20 years at PotashCorp, where he was engaged in mine development and maintenance, downstream operations, and environment, social and governmental compliance.
Mr Schlumpberger then held a series of operational and executive positions, including most recently managing director and chief executive officer at American Pacific Borates Ltd.
He is currently NED for Rapid Critical Metals and president of mining and management consultancy Schlumpberger Inc.
Mr Schlumpberger is an American citizen based in New Mexico, USA.
Guardian holds tungsten, base and precious metals’ licences in Nevada, USA.
