Focus Xplore plc has appointed local consultants to complete initial exploration at the Iva, Ellie and Oba lithium and Bay Road rare earth elements projects in northwest Ontario.

Fladgate Exploration Consulting Corporation’s activities this Spring will include mapping and sampling over the projects’ respective 642 hectares, 530ha, 1,175ha and 425ha.
Focus said that work was scheduled to begin as soon as the areas became accessible or by mid-May at the latest.
Planning continues for the company’s remaining projects in northwest Ontario.
Chief executive Patrick Cullen added: “Focus Xplore are looking forward to a busy first phase of exploration this Spring and throughout the year and we are pleased to have appointed the team at Fladgate.
“They are based in Thunder Bay, just 170 kilometres east of the Iva lithium project, which is likely to be among the first projects we gain access to as the snow melts.”
