First Development Resources plc has started drill testing “multiple high-priority” gold targets at Lander West within the Selta project in the Northern Territory, Australia.

PROSPECTIVITY
The 3,000 metres, phase I reverse circulation programme follows geological mapping, geochemistry, airborne magnetics, gradient array induced polarisation geophysics and target generation.
The company said that staged drilling would allow geological observations from the initial holes to inform subsequent targeting.
Selta, covering nearly 1,600 km² in the Aileron Province, is prospective for uranium, rare earth elements, base and precious metal mineralisation.
As at 13 July 2026, Power Metal Resources plc holds a 33.04% stake in First Development, having initially acquired an 83.33% interest towards the end of 2021.
