First Development Resources plc has appointed geologist David Rawlings as exploration manager.
Dr Rawlings has more than 30 years’ geological and exploration experience in roles across government, major mining companies, junior explorers.
He additionally has 15 years of consulting Australian-listed resource companies.
Dr Rawlings holds significant experience across Australia, particularly in the Northern Territory, where First Development owns the Selta licence.
His experience spans uranium, gold, lithium, battery metals, base metals and petroleum systems and includes all stages of exploration and project development across Australia.
He has held senior technical and exploration roles with Cameco Australia, Toro Energy, Origin Energy, Core Lithium and Metal Hawk.
Dr Rawlings will oversee next month’s phase I reverse circulation drilling programme at the Lander West gold target, on Selta, as well as exploration across First Development’s portfolio.
The company also holds licences in Western Australia.
