Cornish Lithium plc has appointed Jamie Airnes as the chief executive officer, among a series of management changes.

Other appointments include founder and former CEO Jeremy Wrathall as executive chairman, Peter Morse, who joined in 2024, as general manager for the Trelavour hard rock project and Martin Geissler as general manager for the lithium in geothermal waters project.
Mr Airnes is experienced in project delivery and business growth with UK and international large corporations and start-ups, and has in-depth knowledge of the extractives industry.
He previously helped Ithaca Energy grow from a micro-cap listed company and increased revenue at Chris Dykes International and Hydrovolve.
Peter Morse has led operations and engineering teams across the construction materials, mining, and mineral sands industries in North America and the UK.
He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and Member of the Institute of Quarrying.
Martin Geissler is a subsurface manager with experience in developing geothermal energy projects in Europe.
In 2025, he “relocated” from Austria to join Cornish Lithium.
Mr Geissler has a degree in Applied Geosciences from the University of Leoben, and previously worked as a geoscientist in the oil and gas industry.
The changes have created a 15-strong leadership team which also includes earlier appointments of chief financial officer; chief operating officer; VP land, minerals and mining assets; group general counsel; VP corporate development; VP head of health, safety and risk; VP business development and government relations; VP finance; and three advisory board members.
In addition to the executive chairman and CFO, the board also has one independent non-executive director and four NEDs.

Cornish Lithium is a private and publicly funded company with support from The National Wealth Fund, TechMet and the Energy & Minerals Group.
In November 2022, the company re-registered from a private to a public company without any trading.
Following the most recent allotment of shares on 28 February 2025, Cornish Lithium’s statement of capital shows 868,388,514 shares with a total aggregate nominal value of £86,839.8513.
