Borders & Southern Petroleum plc has increased its issued share capital following several warrant exercises over its ordinary shares of one pence each, at a price of 10p per share.
On 4 September 2026, the oil and gas explorer issued 1,875,000 new ordinary shares for a cash value of £187,500, and on 15 September a further 251,600 new ordinary shares for £25,160.
On 21 September, Borders received three notices to exercise warrants over new ordinary shares, including 1,473,684 issued to non-executive chairman Harry Dobson for £147,368; 263,150 to a warrant holder for £26,315; and 210,526 to chief executive officer Harry Baker for £21,052.60.
On 22 September, the company issued 4,813,150 new ordinary shares for an aggregate cash value of £481,315.
Following admission of all the new shares, Borders’ total issued share capital will comprise 893,331,892 ordinary shares with voting rights and none held in treasury.
The company owns appraisal and exploration assets in the South Falkland Basin, which include the Darwin gas condensate discovery.
