Arkle Resources plc has visually logged secondary uranium mineral carnotite during its 1,500 metres reverse circulation drilling at Erongo in Namibia.

The findings, which need to undergo laboratory tests to determine the uranium content, were logged in RC drill chips in three holes across two fence lines within licence EPL8995.
Arkle has to date completed 52 holes for 1,017m, and logged carnotite at depths of between four to five metres.
The company previously defined two styles of mineralisation of paleochannel-hosted and uraniferous-leucogranite (ULG)-hosted uranium on its four-licence acreage, which lies close to large deposits.
Arkle said it would expand drilling to accelerate some of the drill holes planned for the third quarter of this year.
Additional drilling will comprise the western paleochannel target, which had an initial fence of holes completed this week, and step-out holes on the eastern paleochannel target.
The primary ULG target of EPL8995 will also undergo its first drill test.
Other work includes the start this week of downhole gamma ray spectrometer surveys of the completed drill holes.
A total of 1,016 one-metre samples have also been collected with results expected during September.
The company will await assay results from drilling and sampling before announcing the grade or continuity of uranium mineralisation.
