Alba Mineral Resources plc has become a member of the Critical Minerals Association (UK).

The company’s current interests comprise gold in Wales, graphite and multi-metals in Greenland, rare earths-copper-gold in Sweden and oil and gas, onshore England.
“This is an exciting development for Alba as we reinforce our growing profile within the UK’s critical minerals ecosystem and deepen our engagement with the organisations shaping policy, skills and investment priorities across the sector,” said executive chairman George Frangeskides.
“The CMA provides a direct line of communication between industry and government and plays a leading role in supporting the delivery of the UK’s critical minerals ambitions.
“As a member, we look forward to contributing to the CMA’s working groups and initiatives, and to sharing our insights derived from our years of experience in operating and developing some of the most prominent critical mineral projects in Europe, including the Amitsoq graphite deposit and, most recently, the Motzfeldt critical metals project in Greenland.”
CMA founder and chief executive officer Kirsty Benham added that the organisation was “the UK’s leading trade body for the critical minerals sector”.
